Looking For LightDesign inspiration


This piece was inspired by a previous game I made, EPIPHYLLUM OXYPETALUM, where I initially wanted to make a visual 3D game about the misalignment of rotating mirrors. The player is trapped in a maze with irregular geometry and visual dislocations. Rotating the mirrors in the scene changes the direction and path of light propagation through the maze, and the player needs to rotate the mirrors and adjust the perspective to find the exit. For technical reasons this was difficult to achieve. In the end I was only able to implement mazes with irregular geometry and visual dislocation, so rotating the mirror to spread the light became a straightforward click, which I hope I will be able to accomplish in my future studies
